My name is Alain (Allan) Gauthier and I am a small business owner, writer, facilitator, business coach and Internet Marketer living in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I am a husband to Barbara (since 1985), and a father to three adult children and two younger foster children. With all five children still living at home, needless to say, we have a busy and lively home.
Oh… did I forget to mention the two dogs

I am one of the few ‘lucky’ person able to do what they love and get paid for it. Most of the time, I work from a small office space in our home, and 90% of our business is conducted online.

My current “favourite” projects are continuing education web sites and a brand new Virtual Learning Environment host at Net Learn Now. A few more online courses are currently under evaluation for development in 2011 and as the ‘NetLearnNow.com‘ web site gets updated, all of the courses we offer will be made available there.

At the time of this writing, I just finished creating another FREE Online Course for small business owners. It is about how to create, produce and publish your own marketing video.
I am currently working on another Continuing Education course for business owners, managers and supervisors responsible for the safety programs at their work or on job sites. It will be titled Managing Safety Systems and is a joint-venture with SafetyaHead. There is still a lot of work to do but the official launch is scheduled for Fall 2011.

My passion is helping people find their passion, discover their strengths, skills, personality, and how they can use them. Then, my goal is to help them unlock that potential. In this blog, I will share my ideas and write about my own journey of discovery.
