My book, tentatively titled “Cranking Widgets” is in the first draft and will be self-published on this web site by Christmas 2010.

In this book, we will talk about people that are feeling like square pegs in round holes. We have all things we are passionate about, we have natural skills and talents and then we have skills we have learned and experience we have gained. That makes each one of us a very special shape and size, like various square pegs. The business world, and most careers are like round holes, trying to be a one size for all to fit -with little room for individuality and certainly no time from management to find out with each person’s individual passions or strengths are.

It is possible for one to fix that situation and become who they were meant to be. My book is about that, the spiritual, mental and actual physical aspects of who we are and were created to be.

So, as most people are cutting out their corners to become rounded pegs, I suggest that we dig out the edges of the round holes to make them ‘squared’…

In my next few posts, I’ll share some of my ideas on how that can be done -without having to quit your job (al least not right away).
